SimXmil is Guhya Technologies' end-to-end encrypted communication app for Android — private messaging, calls, and group chat, alongside a set of practical utility tools including navigation.
It is built without advertising, without behavioral tracking, and without a business model that depends on your data. This page hosts the official APK directly, along with the information you need to verify it independently before installing it — including a live malware check you can trigger yourself.
A private communication app built around a small set of things done properly, rather than a large set of things done loosely.
End-to-end encryption
Messages and calls are protected by a Double Ratchet key exchange (ECDH P-256) combined with AES-256-GCM — the same class of cryptography used by leading secure messengers.
Group forward secrecy
Each group maintains its own rotating sender keys, so the compromise of one conversation does not expose the history of another.
Utility tools, including navigation
Alongside messaging, SimXmil includes practical everyday tools — including navigation — built directly into the app.
No advertising, no tracking
SimXmil does not run ads and does not build behavioral profiles of the people who use it.
Encrypted backup & restore
Backups are encrypted on your device with a passphrase-derived key before they ever leave it, so a backup file is only ever readable by you.
Built and maintained directly
SimXmil is developed by Guhya Technologies as a single, focused product — not a white-labeled template or an abandoned side project.
Security & verification
Three independent ways to check that the file you download is exactly the one we built — not a modified or repackaged copy — plus a live malware check you can run yourself, right now.
1. What a SHA-256 checksum verifies
A SHA-256 checksum is a fingerprint calculated from every byte of a file. Changing even one byte — for example, injecting code into a repackaged APK — produces a completely different checksum. The value below was calculated directly from the file hosted on this page. If the checksum you calculate from your downloaded copy matches it exactly, the file was not altered in transit or substituted by a third party.
Run the command for your system on the downloaded file, then compare the output to the value above. It should match exactly, character for character. This does not require a phone — use any desktop computer the file has been copied to.
2. Verify it yourself, right in this browser — no upload, no server involved
Prefer not to use a command line? Pick the downloaded APK below and this page will calculate its SHA-256 fingerprint using your browser's built-in crypto engine and compare it to the value above automatically. The file never leaves your device — nothing is uploaded, sent to guhya.space, or sent anywhere else. All of the work happens locally, on your machine.
🔒 This check works even without an internet connection, once the page itself has loaded.
3. Multi-engine malware scan
SimXmil's build is checked against 60+ antivirus engines via VirusTotal. You can view the scan an admin ran before this build was published, or trigger a fresh, read-only lookup yourself below — either way, nothing about your device or your download is ever sent anywhere; this only asks whether the file already hosted on this page has a clean report.

Clean — scanned by an admin before publishing
0/75▶
0/75
This build was scanned and published by an admin, using 75 independent antivirus engines via VirusTotal, on 13 Sep 2026.
None of them flagged this file as malicious. View the full scan report on VirusTotal →
Run your own check
Ask VirusTotal directly, right now, whether this exact file has a clean report. This is read-only — it never uploads anything, it only looks up the hash already shown above.
Permissions this app uses
Android asks you to approve each of these the first time the related feature is actually used — not all at once at install. Here's exactly what each one is for.
Anything marked On-device only below is processed entirely on your phone and is never uploaded to Guhya's servers — this covers the Nearby Tools scanner and the offline GPS estimate specifically. Messages, calls, and files you actually choose to send are end-to-end encrypted and transmitted only because sending them is the point of a messaging app; the permission itself doesn't grant any background access beyond what the feature needs.
🖼️
Photos, videos & files
Lets you attach a photo, video, or file to a chat message. The picker only opens when you tap the attach button — SimXmil does not browse or index your gallery in the background.
✓ Only accessed when you choose to attach something
🎙️
Microphone
Used for voice and video calls, and for recording voice notes. The microphone is only active while a call is connected or while you're actively recording a note — never while the app is idle or in the background.
✓ Active only during calls and recordings
📶
Nearby devices (Wi-Fi & Bluetooth)
Powers the built-in Nearby Tools utility, which can detect nearby Wi-Fi access points, general RF signal presence, and nearby Bluetooth devices for diagnostic and utility purposes.
✓ On-device only — scan results are never sent to our servers
📍
Location
Used by the offline GPS estimate tool, which reads raw GPS satellite signals to estimate your position on-device — useful with a weak or absent data connection. Not used for ads, analytics, or tracking your movement over time.
✓ On-device only — your location isn't sent to our servers
🔔
Notifications
Lets SimXmil alert you to new messages and incoming calls when the app isn't open.
✓ Controls alerts only — no extra data access
Installing on Android
Since SimXmil is distributed directly rather than through the Play Store, Android will show a one-time warning before installing it. This is standard for any app installed this way — the steps below cover it.
Tap Download APK above and wait for the download to finish.
Optionally, verify the file using the checksum, in-browser check, or live malware check in the Security & verification section.
Open the downloaded file from your notifications or your device's Downloads folder.
If Android shows a warning about installing from an unknown source, tap Settings, enable Allow from this source for your browser or file manager, then return and tap Install.
Once installation finishes, open SimXmil and sign in or create an account. You'll be asked for each permission only when you first use the related feature.
